Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage – €30 / 30mins

A localized deep tissue massage technique that focuses on the area that requires specific attention.

Deep tissue massage helps with muscular damage from injuries by targeting the deeper levels of the muscle and connective tissue with slower, more powerful strokes. It’s a fantastic technique for alleviating chronic muscle tightness. The deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia are the focus.

As the massage therapist works on regions with adhesions (knots) or scar tissue, some discomfort or even pain may occur. If you experience pain during your massage, you should always inform your massage therapist. You may experience some stiffness or soreness after the massage, but this should pass in a day or two.

Cupping Therapy

The popularity of cupping massages has soared in recent years, yet it is one of the world’s oldest therapeutic methods. This procedure was known to the ancient Egyptians, and they used it as a holistic therapeutic method. A therapist will apply suction cups to your skin for a few minutes when you come into a spa for a cupping massage.

Cupping massages are available in two types: wet and dry. In both cases, the therapist puts something combustible in a cup, such as nail paint or alcohol, and lights it on fire. They place the cup on your skin once the fire has been extinguished, so that the open end of the cup touches your flesh. Inside the cup, a vacuum is created, which exerts a pushing force on your skin.

The tugging force expands the blood vessels, allowing for better circulation. Instead of using fire to create the vacuum, a rubber pump is employed in more recent cupping procedures. To simulate the round strokes of a traditional massage, therapists circumnavigate the cups across your skin. To allow the cups to move around comfortably, oil is put to your skin beforehand.

Cupping Therapy Benefits

Cupping can help with arthritis, migraines, and a variety of other pains. It can improve blood circulation and re-energize arthritis-affected joints. As a result, rheumatism patients may benefit from cupping therapy. Cupping helps to give an adequate amount of oxygen to all parts of the body by promoting effective blood flow.

Another area where cupping can be used is for mental healing. It aids in the isolation of the mind and the improvement of attention. Cupping helps you heal faster from lung conditions such as bronchitis, pleurisy, and asthma. Digestive issues can also be resolved with a few cupping sessions. It can also keep your skin looking young and healthy by avoiding acne, eczema, and other skin irritations.

Nordblade Therapy Benefits

In the Western medicine, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) appeared in the 1990s. Subsequently, this procedure quickly gained popularity, acquired methodology and specialists interested in it. Today IASTM is a conservative method, one of the manual therapy techniques actively used by specialists in medical, health and sports institutions.

IASTM – this method affects soft tissues, accelerating physiological processes, stimulating the independent ability of tissues to regenerate. In the process of therapy, special instruments are used with which we mechanically act on the skin, receptors, connective tissue and deep structures of soft tissues. By smoothing, stretching, improving the elasticity of the tissue, we restore its natural, anatomical structure. Instrumental mobilization is a general term that describes the use of a number of different instruments (blades, vacuum cups, tourniquets) that enable professionals to diagnose and treat pain, trauma, and soft tissue dysfunction.

The therapy is effective both in combination with other methods (manual, myofascial massage, taping, physical procedures, physical exercises), and as monotherapy.
